Robert Taylor, M.D.
Bob received his M.D. degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He then spent three years with the U.S. Public Health Service in Norfolk, Virginia. For the next 14 years he had a successful private practice in New York. In 1978 Bob joined the faculty of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. He was chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at OHSU from 1984 to 1998. Bob is a Professor, and the author and editor of 12 medical textbooks including Family Medicine: Principles and Practice (6th Edition).
