OHSU Family Medicine

John B.(Bruin) Rugge, M.D. Dr. Rugge received his MD and MPH degrees from Yale University. He then ventured west for postgraduate training. He completed the OHSU Family Medicine and the General Preventive Medicine/Public Health residency programs. He is currently Board certified in Family Medicine and General Preventive Medicine/Public Health. He enjoys getting to know and caring for a wide spectrum of individuals, and practices the full scope of Family Medicine including Maternity care. He has developed a special interest in procedures that can be done in the office setting. Dr. Rugge is instructor with OHSU Family Medicine, and Medical Director of OHSU Family Medicine at Scappoose. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, and canoeing.
