OHSU Family Medicine

John P. Muench, M.D. John received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI in 1989. He subsequently served his residency at West Suburban Hospital Family Practice in Oak Park, Illinois. Dr. Muench is an Assistant Professor and director of Behavioral Science at OHSU Family Medicine. He completed his NRSA Post Doctorate Fellowship in Primary Care Research in 2001. He is a Clinician Teacher, and sees patients at the OHSU Family Medicine at Richmond. He enjoys time with his family, playing guitar, swimming and playing basketball.
