John D. Heintzman, MD John D. Heintzman, MD is a graduate of OHSU Family Medicine Residency. He received his Doctor of Medicine at Temple University. John grew up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he became forever entrenched as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He journeyed to the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor's of Science in psychology. He is an assistant professor and sees patients at OHSU Family Medicine at South Waterfront. John and his wife, Melissa like to travel, ski, hike, eat good food, and watch sunrises. John aspires to be well read, an award-winning photographer, be able to grill 3 meals a day, and have a sense of rhythm.
