Graduate Program in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences
PMCB is an interdisciplinary program that brings together over 150 faculty from five basic science departments and research institutes to provide graduate students with a rigorous training in chemical, molecular, cellular, and systems biology research toward the completion of a Ph.D.
2008 PMCB RETREAT - September 22, 2008 8:30 am to 10:00 pm
Riverplace Hotel -1510 SW Harbor Way
located on the Tom McCall Waterfront Park, just a short walk from the Trimet Streetcar.
First Year Students: Activities will begin with morning presentations by faculty from each of the five PMCB Programs, Lunch and an afternoon of the ever popular mentor speed dating.
Advanced Students: Afternoon events will start with lunch and include presentations from Industry Professionals (I can do 'that' with my new degree?) then information on the Entrepreneur Training Program followed by advice on Post-Doc training: Choices and Decisions.
All students and faculty: Will enjoy the Poster and Margarita session followed by dinner. awards, and a presentation by Brian Druker, MD; Director, OHSU Cancer Institute.

A MAP to the Hotel, showing Trimet streetcar and bus information. The hotel has limited parking, and runs about $12 - $15 if available. Please note: The RiverPlace Hotel is on SW Harbor Way it is not the 'Marriott Residence Inn - Riverplace' on Moody & River Parkway.
