Welcome to the OHSU Family Medicine Web Page. Over the past 3 ½ decades we have grown from a tiny two-doctor beginning to become a nationally-ranked major department in the medical school. Today we have four clinics, four hospital services at University Hospital, residency programs in Portland and in Klamath Falls with a total of 56 residents, a required third-year medical school clerkship and a faculty of 58 clinicians, educators, and researchers. In addition, we have over three hundred volunteer faculty located in communities throughout our state. The latest edition of U.S. News & World Report ranks our Department second among the nation's academic family medicine departments and we're very proud of the programs that have led to this national reputation.
