Wei-Yung is a professor
in the Departments of Oral pathology and Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery at the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry.
He graduated from Shanghai 2nd Medical University in China in
1957, earning a D.D.S. degree. Following a general residency at
Nanjing Stomatology Hospital, he served as an oral surgeon, oral
pathologist, and head & neck & facial plastic surge as
vice head of those departments.
Wei-Yung moved to the
USA in 1980 and attended Oregon Health Sciences University School
of Dentistry. He completed the Oral pathology Master of Science
degree program at OHSU, obtaining his degree in 1984. Wei-Yung
has been a member of the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial
Pathology and Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
for 10 years.
His interests are in
surgical pathology and oral and maxillofacial surgery, and he
has published a number of papers on those subjects in a variety
of medical and dental journals.
Wei-Yung lives in Portland,
Oregon with his wife, yun-Qiu. His hobbies include gardening,
reading, and bicycle riding.
