Case #1:

This 56 year old man presented with: Erosion of the right and left buccal mucosa, floor of the mouth and lips. The red areas are partially covered by a yellow/grey membrane.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:


Case #2:

This 17 year old man has: A 0.5 cm diameter, pale, smooth surfaced, low dome-shaped nodule on his maxillary alveolus facial to tooth #6.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:


Case #3:

This 16 year old boy has: Generalized loss of the maxillary and mandibular facial gingiva and bone. Interdental areas are red.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:


Case #4:

This middle-aged man has: A 1 cm light brown sessile nodule on the left buccal mucosa.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx


Case #5:

This 13 year old girl has: An ill-defined "ground glass" radiopacity involving the cuspid and bicuspid area of the right maxilla.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:

Much less better choices:


Case #6:

This 21 year old man has: A 0.5 x 0.4 centimeter fenestration of the left lateral soft palate. The surrounding mucosa is normal in color and texture.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:
