Case #1:

This 19 year old man presented with: An unerupted #17 that has a well defined 1.0 cm diameter radiolucent area surrounding the crown.

A reasonable radiographic differential Dx:

Hyperplastic dental follicle (this was the diagnosis rendered)

Dentigerous cyst

Odontogenic keratocyst


Case #2:

This young man has: Mildly fissured tongue and white curved slightly raised white patches with adjacent redness involving the lateral borders and anterior ventral tongue.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:

Case #3:

This person's radiograph shows: Generalized absence of the root canals and pulp chambers.

A reasonable radiographic Dx:


Case #4:

This middle-aged man has: A 2.0 x 1.8 cm pale yellowish subcutaneous mass in the left submandibular area.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:

Case #5:

This 42 year old man presented with:

A lobulated ill-defined radiolucency involving the periapical area from mandibular cuspid to cuspid.

A reasonable radiographic differential Dx:


Case #6:

This 54 year old man has:

A well-defined radiolucency of the right body and ramus of the mandible associated with impacted tooth #32 that extends from the coronoid process to tooth #28.

A reasonable radiographic differential Dx:
