Case #1:

19 year old male presented with:
A 1.5 cm, well-defined radiolucency involving impacted tooth #20.

A reasonable radiographic differential Dx:


Case #2:

34 year old male with:
Generalized "punched out" interdental papillae, and 0.7 cm area of gray exposed bone between teeth #19 and #20.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:


Case #3:

4 year old boy with:
generalized lack of melanin pigmentation of hair and skin.

A reasonable clinical Dx:

These patients will develop skin cancers at an early age if precautions against sun exposure is not taken.


Case #4:

This 32 year old woman has:
Red palatal petechiae at the junction of the hard and soft palate of an area of about 2 x 1 cm.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:


Case #5:

This 27 year old man has:
An ill-defined blue/gray macular pigmented area of the anterior maxill alveolar ridge and vestibule over all the incisors. There is a 3 x 2 mm red papule with a yellow center over the apical region of #8.

A reasonable clinical differential Dx:


Case #6:

This 28 year old male has:
A 4 x 3 cm well circumscribed radiolucency with a scalloped border and associated with impacted #32.

A reasonable radiographic differential Dx:
