Education
and Background:
Daniel
M. Yaillen received a B.S. (1975) from Oregon State University,
D.M.D. (1977) from Oregon Health Sciences University, and M.S.D.
and Certificate of Orthodontics (1979) from the University of Washington.
He has been a part-time assistant professor with the Department
of Orthodontics since 1980. He also maintains his own private practice.
Teaching
and Professional Affiliations:
Dr. Yaillen
teaches and supervises the department's graduate orthodontic students.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Edward
H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists,
the American Dental Association, and is a Diplomate of the American
Board of Orthodontics. He also serves as Specialty Examiner in Orthodontics
for the Oregon Board of Dentistry.
