With the completion of this seminar each resident should:
-be able to describe and discuss the “Theory of Focal Infection”
-understand the consequences of a bacteremia and be intimately familiar with the appropriate prophylactic antibiotic regimen.
-be able to describe and discuss the “Hollow Tube Theory”
