Recently the Transgenic Core was relocated to the Biomedical Research Building to take advantage of the new mouse pathogen-free barrier. After relocation, the Transgenic Core is once again providing regular service for OHSU customers. Currently, the Transgenic facility performs the generation of transgenic and knock out mice, cryopreservation of mouse embryos and other types of service. Moreover, we provide advice and letters of support to investigators for grant applications.
