ACR/EULAR endorsed study to develop classification and diagnostic criteria for primary systemic vasculitis
The aim of this study is to develop new diagnostic and classification criteria for the different types of primary vasculitis. The study will allow us to improve our ability to distinguish patients with vasculitis from those who do not have the disease (diagnostic criteria) and to distinguish between different forms of vasculitis (classification criteria).
Primary systemic vascuitis including Wegener’s granulomatosis (also known as granulomatosis with polyangiitis), giant cell arteritis, Churg-Strauss syndrome (also known as eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis), microscopic polyangiitis, Henoch Schönlein purpura, cryoglobulinemia, polyarteritis nodosa, Kawasaki's disease, Takayasu’s arteritis, Behçet’s disease, relapsing polychondritis, primary CNS vasculitis and their disease mimickers.
