Clinical investigation of the new nanohybrid resin composite Venus Pearl in class 2 cavities- a multi-center study.

Study Purpose

The purpose of the study is to compare the performance of a new tooth colored dental filling material called Venus Peal to a commerically available dental tooth filling material - Filtek Supreme XTE.

Medical Condition(s)

Dental cavities are holes or damage in you tooth. A common way to treat cavities is to remove the decay from the tooth and fill it in with dental filling material. We want to compare a new dental material to one commonly used in dentist clinics to see if the new dental material performs better.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate,
- You must be 18 years and older.
- Have a known or suspected cavities
- Willing to participate in follow-up appointments

Age Range

18 - 85

Healthy Volunteers Needed

No

Duration of Participation

Two years with possibility of extending to four years.
