Neurocognition and Brain Development in Youth (Attention Deficit)
A research study is being performed at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) to measure the changes that take place in the brain as you mature in your teenage years.
No medical conditions are being studied.
Eligible participants will be between the ages of 14 and 16, right-handed, and do not have braces or a permanent retainer.

Duration of Participation
The participant and a legal guardian will complete telephone interviews to determine eligibility. If the youth is eligible for the study, he/she will attend up to three study visits at OHSU at no cost. The study visits will include a puzzle and games session, a lab visit, and an magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan. The study will take approximately 6-7 hours total.

National Institutes of Health
Youth receive $110.00 in the case that all sessions are completed or $15.00 an hour if sessions are not completed. There are certain tasks where the participant may be able to receive additional money. Parents will receive $10.00 for their time in completing the phone interview and $30.00 for completing the sessions.
