Stroke rehabilitation with enhanced proprioceptive feedback
This study is investigating whether use of an AMES device can increase strength and movement in affected arms and legs of people who have had a stroke.
18-80 years old
1 year or more after the stroke
Pass an evaluating exam by the Principal Investigator and the study physician (at no cost to the subject).
Be able to walk, communicate, and understand.
Live within 25 miles of Portland.
Be willing to follow the protocol for 6 months and be evaluated 3 months following the end of the study period.

Duration of Participation
Participation includes pre-treatment evaluations, a 6 month treatment period, followed by post-treatment evaluations and a set of follow-up evaluations 3 months after completion of the treatments.
