In addition to the resources listed above, there are many processes in place at OHSU to help you successfully prepare, submit, and receive grant funding.

Research Funding and Development Services (RFDS) is here to help you in the first stage of research development. RFDS provides central services and resources to help you find funding, improve your grant-writing skills, support your professional development and strategically plan for your future research projects.

Research Grants and Contracts (RGC) will assist you in submitting your application, with understanding processes involved in submitting an application, proposal review, and award setup to ensure you get your money. You are assigned a contact person based on your department. Contact this person when you are in the initial stages of developing a proposal. To find who your contact is, click here.

Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) will help you with grant administration and ensure you are compliant in managing your money. The OHSU Foundation is also a great resource when securing private funding. To apply for a grant from a foundation, fill out the Clearance form and let the OHSU Foundation assist you.
