Conflict of Interest in Research (CoIR) Management System

The OHSU Research Integrity Office (ORIO) has a new electronic submission system for CoIR disclosures; the CoIR Management System.*

Status: The system is now live. To login, use your Novell log-in name and password. If you are an outside investigator, you may register in the system and a temporary password will be sent to you. http://www.ohsu.edu/coir

Purpose of the CoIR Management System:

Increase communication between the Research Community and the CoIR Offices, RDA offices and the departments. Specifically, the CoIR tool will be a central location where all RDA offices may track, print, run reports and sign off on the CoIR disclosures for Research Staff.

Benefits of the CoIR Management System:

  • Online submission of CoIR disclosure forms.
  • Online sign off by appropriate signatory officials.
    • Signature requirements available at: http://www.ohsu.edu/research/rda/coir/signaturepage.shtml
    • "EZ" disclosures do not require a signatory official.
    • Inappropriate assignments of signatory officials will delay the review process. Your designated signers will be notified by email that action/signature is required.
  • Online tracking system
    • Department Administrators can print out a list of their researcher's compliance records and future dates
    • Email reminders will be sent to those designated as contacts for Researchers
    • Individuals can access current disclosure form, disclosure form history, and future form due date
