All animal purchases must be placed through the DCM Department Purchasing Agent. Purchases or order modifications placed directly with any vendors by anyone other than the Department Purchasing Agent are prohibited. Animals received as a result of any unauthorized purchases may be subject to rejection.
 
Animal purchase requests must be received by the DCM office no later than noon on Wednesday of the week prior to the requested arrival date.
 
Orders for timed pregnant rodents must be placed before the breed date. If any portion of the breeding falls on a weekend (Friday through Sunday), a substantial daily surcharge may be applied by the vendor.
