DNA Sequencing Update
The ABI 3130xl has great throughput: up to a million bases a week. Turnaround time is usually a day and a half. We recommend, for OS X users, 4Peaks, and the cross-platform program from Geospiza called FinchTV, for visualization and analysis of your 4-color data. Oligo Synthesis Update
We've had our solid-phase synthesizers refurbished. So, once again, most oligos are ready the next morning (mark them rush, to go to the head of the queue). Our niche for synthesis is speed, high-coupling efficiency (better yields for longmers), labeled oligos and and most recently siRNA. We synthesize siRNA oligos for $80 single-strand or $180 a duplexed pair, and you get enough to run hundreds of RNA interference experiments.
High-Resolution Microscopy Update
We perform both high-resolution fluorescence confocal and wide-field deconvolution microscopy: click on site menu item for more information. The CoreDV, our new Applied Precision DeltaVision with QLM 3 laser package and live-cell environmental chamber, is up and running.
