Mentorship Matching Program

To grow the field in gender based medicine, we need investigators at all experience levels. No matter what your parent discipline or expertise, evaluating your research for important gender and sex effects may pay off in unanticipated ways. Seeking interpretations of these effects will lead to novel hypotheses, new grants and interesting publications.

Mentorship can speed this process. We will help you identify a mentor with expertise in the area of gender based medicine whether your focus is clinical, translational or basic science research. Areas that may be particularly helpful include:

Recognizing significant gender and sex based effects in your data
Identifying reasonable experiments to isolate true sex differences from the overlay of hormonal effects
