The Oregon Health Policy Institute reflects collaboration among Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon State University, and Portland State University
to develop, implement, and evaluate health policy issues that affect
Oregon and its residents.
OHPI's charter
authorizes activities in health services research, health policy
analysis, interrelationships between health policy and other policy
issues, database development, methods development, thesis and dissertation
research, professional development and education, and advice to
public agencies and officials.The Department of Public Health and
Preventive Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University hosts
the Institute.
OHPI currently
includes a collaborative core and four centers:
