Dr. Phillips' current research interests are focused on the evaluation
of diagnostic and treatment procedures. His primary effort has
been in the development of auditory screening tests to detect
hearing loss from ototoxic drugs before a hearing loss interferes
with speech perception and in determining whether some patients
are more susceptible to ototoxicity than others.
