RESIDENCY HOME TRAINING OBJECTIVES PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM EVALUATION

Preventive Medicine Residency Program Evaluation

It is the policy of the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and the Preventive Medicine Residency to keep detailed records of all educational settings rotated through by the residents. Each resident individually populates a Preventive Medicine Residency Database (in Microsoft Access) and is evaluated twice per year on his or her progress according to core and general competencies as reflected in the ACGME requirements for the field. Residents receive feedback from the program director and their practicum supervisors, and have opportunities to offer feedback to both parties in a confidential format. Residents who are participating in the MPH program will complete course evaluation forms each quarter for the courses in which they are enrolled.
