The Department of Psychiatry, Division of Public Psychiatry has an outstanding opportunity for six new, full-time academic faculty positions.
These positions will be central to the development of a vigorous University-State partnership and will be responsible for creating a state of the art inpatient treatment program at the Oregon State Hospital. Research opportunities, with a full-time research assistant onsite, academic time at the University, and time for community interface make this a unique career path opportunity in a dynamic and creative environment at a time of historic, progressive change in the State system of care.
Academic rank begins at the level of Assistant Professor and may be higher, depending on credentials. All applicants must be board certified or board eligible (with certification planned/in process) in Psychiatry; experience, fellowship training and/or board certification in forensics, addictions, geriatrics and/or public psychiatry a plus.
