Academic and Clinical Experience
Kyle P. Johnson, M.D., joined the faculty of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 1999.
Dr. Johnson obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1988, and graduated from
the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his general psychiatry training at OHSU
in 1996 and his child and adolescent psychiatry training at OHSU in June 1999. He is board-certified
in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Johnson is the Associate Director of the OHSU Sleep Medicine Program and the Co-director of the Doernbecher
Pediatric Sleep Program. He consults to the OHSU Children's Psychiatric Day Treatment Center serving 3 to 7
year old children. Dr. Johnson has a clinical practice in sleep medicine and child and adolescent psychiatry.
His special areas of interest include pediatric sleep medicine, the interface between psychiatry and primary care
medicine, and circadian rhythm disturbances in children and adolescents.
