Clinical and Teaching Experience:

Dr. M. Patricia Cason has been a member of the psychiatric staff of the Portland Veteran's Administration Medical Center since 1993. She has served on the medical staffs of the Multnomah County Department of Human Services Corrections Health Program (1986-87), Mental Health Services-West (1987-88), the Southeast Mental Health Network (1987-88), Clackamas County Mental Health Center (1988-94), and Mid-Columbia Center for Living, Hood River, Oregon (1993-95).

Her work at the VA has included treating veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and providing evaluation and ongoing therapy to older veterans in the Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic. She currently provides medication consultation and therapy to patients at the VA's Vancouver Division of the Mental Health Clinic in Vancouver, Washington.

Dr. Cason also serves as the faculty attending and volunteer preceptor for third-year OHSU medical students beginning their VA clinical clerkships in psychiatry, and supervises psychiatry residents. → BACK
