The Adult Attention Deficit Disorders Clinic provides initial evaluation for diagnosis of adults with residual Attention
Deficit Disorder and follow-up treatment for patients who have already been diagnosed.
Services include assessment and evaluation, pharmacotherapy and medication management, education and skills
training, and coordination of care with the primary care physician.

The OHSU Behavioral Health Clinic offers adult outpatient treatment for an array of problems
including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress, bipolar and psychotic disorders,
adjustment to chronic medical problems, substance abuse/dependence, and gambling. Because people
often need to cope with a combination of problems, the clinical staff (counselors, psychiatrists and a
nurse practitioner) are professionally trained and qualified to provide care for all areas, and will
help each individual identify and develop a treatment plan for each concern.
Services include individual therapy, group therapy, marital and family therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication
management, risk reduction training and education, and coordination of care with the primary care physician.

The Complex Neuropsychiatry Consultation Clinic provides consultation to physicians on
and off the hill, for patients who have complex and difficult psychiatric problems, such as
severe tardive dyskinesia, treatment resistant depression, head injury with psychiatric
symptoms, etc. There are also a limited number of patients on Clorzaril followed in this
clinic.

The Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic provides evaluation and treatment for elderly individuals with
psychiatric disorders which include dementia, depression, and anxiety disorders. The geriatric psychiatry
staff works closely with family members,
other medical providers, and residential facilities to provide coordination of care.

The Intercultural Psychiatric Program (IPP) has a staff of 20 mental health counselors and
10 psychiatrists providing treatment in 17 languages to adult patients and their families
who speak languages other than English. The program includes the Torture Treatment Center
of Oregon providing therapy to torture survivors and the Child Traumatic Stress Clinic treating
children who have been traumatized by war experiences or severe neglect and abuse.
Most IPP patients are refugees or immigrants, and many suffer from severe PTSD and/or major depressive disorder.
Others have psychiatric disorders unrelated to their refugee
status. IPP offers psychiatric assessment, ongoing treatment and medication management,
psycho-social therapy, and case management. IPP-coordinated group therapy and activities
are also offered off-campus at the Intercultural Service Center located in SE Portland.
Interpreters are available to answer questions for people who speak languages other than English.

The OHSU Sleep Disorders Clinic is a mulitdisciplinary program comprised of physicians from psychiatry, child psychiatry, pediatric pulmonary medicine, adult pulmonary medicine and neurology as well as nurse practitioners. The clinic serves patients of all ages including infants, toddlers, and children. Clinicians are able to assess and treat all sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. The OHSU Sleep Disorders Program operates a Sleep Laboratory at the Marriott Residence Inn at Riverplace in downtown Portland, Oregon. A referral from a health care provider is required for consultation.
