  • Scientists will be able to shift research priorities rapidly in response to world events or sudden disease outbreaks.

Features

  • The center would contain four separate laboratories, able to conduct research on four infectious disease pathogens simultaneously.
  • The center would include imaging capability through the use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment.
  • All safety and security systems would be redundant, providing layer upon layer of protection for employees and the public.
