Biography

Dr. Dimitrova sees patients in the Neurology Wellness Clinic. She specializes in integrating complementary and alternative medicine approaches along with traditional neurologic therapies in the management of headache, pain disorders and other common neurologic conditions. Specifically, she uses structural, palpation-based acupuncture to address chronic headache and pain syndromes. She is also interested in supplements, mind-body practices, dietary and lifestyle modifications, which can optimize neurologic health. As an NIH-funded scientist, Dr. Dimitrova is familiar with the latest research on acupuncture and other complementary therapies. She has close clinical and research collaborations with the National College of Naturopathic Medicine and Oregon College or Oriental Medicine.
