OHSU Proteomics Shared Resource

John Klimek

John came to PSR in 2006. He previously worked for the Proteomics Core Facility at the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle Washington. His past research includes studies into the effects of particular mutations on the fuctioning of genes in drosophila. In Seattle John spent most of his time providing proteomics services for clients but also created MS/MS databases from a multitude of different instuments to aid in the development of peptide and protein identification software.

Here at PSR John now spends his time operating the QSTAR as well as handling clients samples, data, and billings. In his time off John enjoys hiking, golfing, and mountain biking, but also enjoys just hanging out at home with his wife and/or video games.
