Success Stories
Only from the alliance of everyone working with and through each other, can great things be achieved.
Our "Success Stories" is an opportunity for us to share some of the voices and or faces of the people involved in poison prevention within our region.
This site is a showcase for successful poison prevention activities. There will also be opportunities for viewing samples of poison prevention efforts taking place in your communities.
From time to time we will display pictures and stories of poison prevention heroes or heroines. These stories will include information from our callers describing their successes as well.
March 2011 . . . by love, serve one another.
Dear Poison Center,
Thank you for being there to serve the public and save lives. I don't have to go through an automated phone menu to get you; I just have to call, and someone answers in person. I can be at church, on vacation, out dancing, asleep . . . and someone is faithfully waiting at the [Oregon] poison center, just in case I or my family or friends need you.

My kids are teenagers now and usually know what they should and should not put in their mouths. But you folks were a huge security for me when the kids were little.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge that other might live! Sincerely, Janet H.
