As the Director of Pharmacy Services, Gae
oversees the inpatient, outpatient, and research
pharmacies along with maintaining relationships
with the two local colleges of pharmacy. Her
administrative interests include systems thinking,
drug policy management, pharmacy leadership
development, and the role of automation in
the expansion of the pharmacy department’s
role as a leader in the medication use process.

Mike Brownlee Assistant Director

MS (Hospital Pharmacy), University of Kansas
Mike is an Assistant Director of Pharmacy
Services with main responsibilities in the
inpatient care setting. Mike's responsibilities
include management of pharmacy information
systems, drug information/drug policy services,
residency programs, and new clinical development.
Mike is also the Director of the Specialty
Residency in Pharmacy Informatics. Outside
of OHSU, Mike serves as the Vice Chair of
the UHC Integrated Technologies for Safe
Medication Use Committee and is a member
of the ASHP Section Advisory Group for Workload
and Productivity. His administrative interests
include effective use of technology in health
care, clinical pharmacy services, mentoring/leadership,
and medication safety.

Mike Millard

As an Assistant Director of Pharmacy Services,
Millard has responsibility for inpatient
services, including drug distribution, automation
and product control from the Central Pharmacy.

and six sigma production processes

Mo Ober Assistant Director

Francisco
Maureen is an Assistant Director of Pharmacy
Services with responsibilities in the inpatient
care setting. Her primary administrative interest
is medication safety. She co-chairs the OHSU
Medication Safety Committee, is the department’s
representative on the OHSU Patient Safety
Committee and is a member of the UHC Medication
Management and Quality Improvement Council.

As an Assistant Director for Pharmacy Services,
Jim manages Central Pharmacy production, controlled
substances practices, the automated dispensing
system, and many of the technicians employed
by the Department. Jim’s interests include
expansion of automation within the Department
and Hospitals, development of effective relationships
with vendors and advancement of professional
practices by and for pharmacy personnel.

Kavish is an operations manager responsible
for pharmacy operations in the Center for
Health and Healing (CHH), including the retail
pharmacy, infusion center pharmacy, research
pharmacy services and pharmacy services provided
to the CHH clinics. Kavish has a variety of
administrative interests, including student/resident
development, pharmacy business development,
reimbursement for cognitive services, increasing
continuity of care between the inpatient and
outpatient settings, as well as expanding
pharmacy services in both the inpatient and
outpatient settings.

Daniel Kennedy

BS Pharmacy: Oregon State University
Overseeing the ambulatory pharmacy operations
at the Pavilion, Casey Eye Institute, Doernbecher
and Gabriel Park Pharmacies, Dan brings his
extensive community and ambulatory care setting
experiences to OHSU. Dan’s administrative
interests are in the fields of pharmacy automation,
patient safety and pharmacy policy, as a member
of the Oregon Health Resources Commission.

Jen is the Central Pharmacy operations manager
with responsibility for distribution, production
and medication use system workflow for inpatient
care areas, the Emergency Department and hospital
based clinics. Her administrative interests
include pharmacy operations and technology,
teaching and resident activities, the mentor/mentee
relationship and pharmacy association involvement
at both the state and national level. |
