Biography

Qiana has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience, and a successful track record as a people-centered leader passionate about transforming culture and creating inclusive workplace environments.

Qiana is known for driving business results through the unique intersection of strategy, talent and culture. As a seasoned HR and business leader, Qiana brings expertise in aligning strategy, capabilities, people and culture to deliver results and accelerate growth.

In addition, Qiana is an ICF-certified executive coach; that, coupled with her unique experience and skillset, make her a sought-after advisor, adept at addressing sensitive human capital issues, engendering trust among all levels of staff, providing a safe culture in which to have transparent confidentially discuss business issues related to talent, development, and culture.

Qiana has held positions across the breadth of Human Resources, including executive roles in Total Rewards, HR Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion, Culture and Talent Acquisition. Her experience spans various U.S. and global industries and businesses, including healthcare, consumer products, financial services, manufacturing and retail, human services and education.

In addition, Qiana has extensive nonprofit board experience, having served on the boards of the African American Leadership Academy, Ohio Workforce Coalition, Columbus Urban League, Communities in Schools of Central Ohio, CASA of Franklin County and NBMBAA Columbus.

Qiana holds graduate degrees from the University of Georgia and Xavier University (OH). She also has a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University. Qiana is the mother of two adult children, and she is actively engaged in various civic and charitable organizations in the community.
