Linda Glenn takes great pleasure from getting to know and understand each woman's joys, concerns and needs. Linda also enjoys assisting patients and families in a positive way. Her clinical and research focus include midwifery, family dynamics and mental health.
Linda moved to Portland from North Carolina with a two-year stop in New Mexico in between. She chose Portland because she liked the area and wanted to work at OHSU. When she is not at work, Linda enjoys spending time reading. She also likes using her carpentry skills when the opportunity arises.
Childbirth and prenancy philosophy:
"My basic philosophy is to show up, pay attention and keep my hands off (minimize interventions) unless the mother's or baby's needs warrant intervention. Then it is my job to either provide (or find the best person to provide) whatever is needed in the way of support, further investigation of the concern, or else engage in whatever action is needed for the specific circumstance."Read more
