My primary responsibilities are as a licensed dental faculty member serving as a simulation clinic instructor, and most frequently as a restorative attending dentist, instructor and mentor on the clinic floor where students provide actual dental care for their patients. My goal is to help the students make the transition from knowing about dentistry to learning of the many elements, responsibilities, and obligations it takes to be a practicing dentist with the technical knowledge, skills, caring nature, curiosity, communications talents, judgement, professional and personal ethics, along with an unrelenting dedication to excellence to be able to fully take good care of their patients.
