Biography
Dr. Alday received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed her residency at the University of Utah. She moved to Portland in 2012, where she initially worked at Tuality Community Hospital as a hospitalist and later as a co-chief hospitalist. She joined the OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine in 2015, where she works as a clinical and teaching hospitalist. She previously served as the Inpatient Quality Medical Director for the Department of Medicine and as a liaison for the clinical hospitalist program at Tuality Community Hospital, an OHSU partner. She is currently the medical director for the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) and inpatient coding teams. Her clinical and research interests include process improvement, care team communication, physician wellness, and sepsis. She enjoys running, traveling, enjoying Portland's many restaurant offerings, and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
