Newly Diagnosed
Receiving the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease can be overwhelming for both the patient and their loved ones. At OHSU PCO, we meet this challenge with guidance, optimism, and hope, born out of years of researching and caring for people with PD. Whether someone with PD is our patient or not, we want them to receive the best care and the latest information to cope successfully with the changes PD brings.
To help patients and their family members, OHSU PCO offers a Newly Diagnosed Education Session for anyone diagnosed in the last 3 years. This education session lasts three-hours and allows people to ask a PD expert and long-time PD patient questions in a small group gathering. Resource materials and refreshments are provided. If you are interested, please contact us at 503 494-9054 for more information. Cost: $20 per person.
