Cutaneous Melanoma – BRAF and NRAS genes
Test Description
Mutations in BRAF (exon 15) NRAS codons 12, 13 and 61 are detected by a combination of high-resolution melting curve analysis and DNA sequencing.
How To Order This Test
To order BRAF and NRAS mutation screening, send the following items to Dr. Corless at the address below.
- Completed Test Requisition Form (including patient’s billing information).
- A paraffin block or 15 unstained slides (uncharged slides preferred) representative of the tumor.
- A copy of the original pathology report.
