Colon Cancer – KRAS and BRAF genes
Test Description
KRAS and BRAF gene mutations are detected by a combination high-resolution melting curve analysis and DNA sequencing. The assays cover known substitutions of KRAS codons 12 and 13, and BRAF codon 600. The estimated sensitivity is 10% mutant allele.
Note: MSI testing is also available for colon cancer. For information see OHSU Molecular Diagnostics Center.
