TRAVEL

Non-Participant: Each resident is entitled to use monies accumulated in his or her book/travel fund to attend approved scientific meetings at which peer-reviewed scientific papers are presented (presentation not required).

Participant: A resident's travel may be subsidized to scientific meetings at which he/she is presenting research. The trainee must be the first author on the abstract or publication and the work must be selected by peer review process.

All travel requests must be pre-approved by Department Chair at least 30 days prior to travel date.
