The Hematopathology Section at OHSU consists of six hematopathologists. As a Section, we provide complete evaluation of lymph nodes, bone marrows, and other tissue specimens for lymphomas, leukemias, and other hematologic disorders.
We have flow cytometry, an extensive immunohistochemical laboratory, as well as access to a large variety of FISH probes, conventional cytogenetics and molecular tests. Many of these assays can be done on paraffin as well as fresh/frozen tissue.
