Description:	aerobic Causes pharyngitis, scarlet fever, toxic shock, sepsis, necrotizing fascitis, and skin infections (spreading cellulitis, im petigo, erysipelas). Sequelae: rheumatic fever and glomerular nephritis. virulence factors - M protein, lipotechoic acid, enzymes and toxins
