Quick Tips
  • For Marquam Hill: Terrwilliger Blvd has a bike lane.  Sam Jackson is a steep, narrow road with no bike lane and can be dangerous in poor weather.  See a map of Marquam Hill bike routes to choose your commute. If biking downhill, be sure of your brakes, tires and riding experience. The roads are very congested at rush hour.  The safest option is the tram.

  • The Portland Tram can get you to the main hospital in under 5 minutes.  Bikes can be locked at the south waterfront or brought on the tram ($4 ticket or free with OHSU ID). See bike routes to the tram. For more tram information, please visit www.portlandtram.org.
  • Bikes must be walked inside OHSU and on sidewalks outside and locked only to bike racks. We must also keep our disabled ramps safe and clear. Click here for more bike guidelines.

  • OHSU is not responsible for thefts but does offer secure storage. Visit the OHSU Transportation & Parking Customer Service for access.
