Craniofacial

The CDRC Craniofacial Program serves children with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial disorders and associated anomalies or syndromes. Examples include:

  • cleft palate
  • cleft lip and palate
  • anomalies of the skull and facial bones
  • congenital deformities of skull, face and jaw

The recommended evaluation team to develop a comprehensive management plan for a preschool child with cleft lip and palate would include a developmental pediatrician, audiologist, nurse or social worker, plastic surgeon, otolaryngologist, speech-language pathologist, dentist, orthodontist and maxillofacial surgeon.

Professional Staff

The team of professionals serving the clinic consist of speech-language pathology, developmental pediatrics, audiology, neurosurgery, nursing, plastic surgery, otolaryngology, orthodontics, social work, pediatric dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.
