THE ORPRN NETWORK

We are an active clinical research network spanning rural communities throughout the state of Oregon. Our clinician members serve approximately 150,000 patients.

MISSION

The mission of ORPRN is to improve the health of rural populations in Oregon through conducting and promoting health research in partnership with the communities and practitioners we serve.

ORPRN GOALS & OBJECTIVES

To conduct community-based research that:
  • Is woven into the fabric of the community and the rural practices,
  • Reflects community health values, priorities, and needs,
  • Is durable and withstands the test of time and changes in health care funding, and
  • Fosters understanding of the health care values, dynamics, structure, and contributions of the practices in rural communities.
