Susan Wingenfeld

Susan Wingenfeld, BA, is the Administrative Coordinator of the RRTC: Health and Wellness. She received her Bachelor's degree is Sociology from St. John's University in New York City. Ms. Wingenfeld worked as a substitute teacher with learning disabled students in Virginia for four years, and for fourteen years was the Administrative Assistant/Business Manager of a public library in Pennsylvania. She worked for four years at the Evidence-based Practice Center at OHSU where she worked on numerous evidence reports and systematic reviews and was a member of the United States Preventive Services Task Force.

She is expert in working with EndNote, a bibliographic database, and is highly familiar with literature searches and reviews, as well as researching the Internet and library databases. She has received many Editorial Acknowledgements for her contributions to journal articles on a variety of topics. At the RRTC, she manages bibliographic databases, creates and formats reference lists and bibliographies, prepares manuscripts for submission, does research, proofreads and edits articles and grants, coordinates events and travel for the RRTC. She works closely with the Center Director and Coordinator on contract issues, filing the annual report and budget coordination. She also coordinates events, travel and purchasing for the RRTC as well as prepares presentations.
