Liz Adams, PhD, RD has recently been named as the Nutritional Epidemiologist for the Child Development & Rehabilitation Center and will also serve as an Assistant Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at OHSU. Prior to accepting this position, Dr. Adams was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University and she served as a Staff Fellow and Epidemic Intelligence Officer at the CDC. As a nutritionist, Dr. Adams has worked in the area of developmental disabilities and special health care needs. She also has experience working as an epidemiologist in maternal and child health including issues related to Title V. Dr. Adams has authored numerous referred journal articles and has presented at many national conferences.
