Denise Spielman, BA, AAS

Denise Spielman is a Senior Research Assistant with the Center on Community Accessibility and the RRTC: Health & Wellness. She is also a Americans with Disabilities Act Senior Trainer/Technical Assistance Specialist with ADA Answers NW. She is on the Board of Directors of Disability Rights Oregon, the state protection and advocacy agency, and on the City of Portland Commission on Disability's Summary Commission. She was the 2008 recipient of the “Making a Difference in Disability” Award in the Education and Awareness category for her dedication and commitment to people with disabilities. The honor was awarded by the Portland Mayor, Tom Potter, and the recommendation for the award came from the Portland Citizen’s Disability Advisory Committee.
